Rotating Earring Holder By Mraz
This is a clever and pretty way to display a large collection of earrings. However, the one design flaw is that the spinning is achieved through the screw into the base, such that when you spin it you are either screwing it further into the base (and run the risk of damaging the surface you've put it on if you go too far) or unscrewing it making it unstable.
I've adjusted the amount that it's screwed into the base to keep it stable and prevent it from damaging my dresser, but that means I've now lost the feature of spinning it to get to the earrings in the back. Seems it would be a simple design alteration to make this much more useful.Shoddy Workmanship By LAS
I got this for my birthday because I needed a new way to organize all my earrings. The center rod comes with a nut and screws into the base, but there are no instructions on how exactly it should be put together. You would think it would be self-explanatory, but no matter which way it went, it wouldn't work. The base wasn't level, and neither was the rotating portion. Anytime I tried to rotate it, it would unscrew the center rod from the base, making things more off-kilter. On the whole, I would say this is a piece of junk. Maybe I just got unlucky, and ended up with the bad one in the bunch, but I'll be looking for another solution to my organization problem.Functional By A. Skogstoe
My previous method for storing/displaying earrings and jewelry just wasn't functioning for me anymore so I purchased this item. The color was just right and it holds all my earrings (with room to add to my collection). When I first put it together (it comes with some assembly required) it stood straight. After I added jewelry it started leaning a bit. It doesn't compromise the structure at all it still stands up, but it looks a bit wobbly. All in all, it serves the purpose i need it to and I would buy it again.
