Nyamarambe, a small village near Kisii, is the home of the 150 member Nyabigena Carvers Cooperative. This civic-minded cooperative has been providing work for its members while also giving back to its community.

I bought this for my mother who adores elephants--she has a bad habit of leaving her rings around in the kitchen and promptly misplacing them. This adorable elephant ring holder is of excellent quality and fits in nicely with the granite counter-tops. She loves it and says that it's very handy to have as it's a stationary, pretty-but-functional piece that can keep her rings in one area.Pretty and functional By Syd 25
I ordered two of these; they are slightly different in shape and very different in colour. One is mostly off-white with a small amount of peach and lavender marbling while the other is mostly peach in colour with a small amount of beige marbling. They are pretty sculptures with the added bonus of functionality! A must have for elephant collectors or anyone looking for a solid yet cute ring holder. Worth every penny!
